The Central Pennsylvania Women's Health Study (CePAWHS) continues to generate new information and publications on the health of women of reproductive age in Central Pennsylvania. Recent CePAWHS research findings have been published in the
May/June 2007 issue of the journal Women's Health Issues. The

Researchers have just completed a two-year followup survey of women interviewed in Phase I, with a response rate of 79%. Results from this followup survey will be available in several months.
Women who participated in the CePAWHS Phase II project are now being contacted for followup telephone interviews. The CePAWHS program, Strong Healthy Women, was provided in 15 communities in the region and tested in a randomized trial. In all, 696 women ages 18-35 participated in Phase II. Results from Phase II will be available in several months. |
